Amended CAA Exemption to Competency Checks

CAA have updated exemption  22/EXE/9 to amendment 2. This extends the requirement to complete a proficiency check, flight review or rating competency check to 18 Feb 2022. New Helicopter Flight Examiner

Flight Test NZ welcomes Quentin Hulse to our examining team as a  General Aviation Flight Examiner.  Quentin can conduct PPL issue, B or C category instructor rating continued competency, Part 135  FCCC. He is based in Christchurch .

Covid restrictions and testing

We are unable to provide flight test and and the practical flight assessment for RPAS tests during Levels 3 and 4.  Once we return to Level 2 we can recommence this.   RPAS theory courses can be completed  on line. This is a great time to fill in a few hours.

PPL Medical Changes
